Episode 0.028: Keep Your Nose To The Tombstone
(49.4 MB; 1:48:06 MIN)

I've been so busy lately I have to do this podcast from work.  Strangely enough, it's a work-themed podcast as well!  As I face off with a VP and her Five Deadly Admins, as well as the creepy Cake Cult who keep trying to make me eat cake at work, you get to listen to three tales involving killing your employer - listen to The Diary Of Fate, The Clock and Nightfall.  Taliesin talks about vampirism in the workplace, courtesy of Taliesin Meets The Vampires.  Doctor Despicable eats a whole pie for lunch.

"Keep Your Nose To The Tombstone" was written by W Ralph Walters

Hey, QQ - Will the Flights Of Fright continue or have we heard the last of them?

The Flights Of Fright will continue! Because of scheduling this stuff around other things going on and my desire to ensure these are as good as I can make them, they're not coming out as often as I'd hoped, but they're not dead in the water, either.

I adore Doctor Despicable. I really need a "I Doctor Despicable." bumper sticker or commemorative plate or something.

My Dear Boy - if you are a boy - My Dear Girl, if you're - oh, to hell with it.

My Dear Person: How kind of you to post your sentiments! I was beginning to think no one cared! Thank you - thank you. BUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING LOLLYGAGGING AROUND HERE WHEN YOU SHOULD BE OUT SOWING THE SEEDS OF DISSENT, UNDERMINING THE CURRENT POWER BLOCK AND THUS ASSURING MY SWIFT RISE TO WORLD DOMINATION?!?

Well, it's a start, I suppose... Bless you for your support - I'll see if I can't come up with some appropriate swag, though please remember, it WILL come out of my world-dominating time...

      Despicably Yours,
      Doc

Damn, the reply field didn't represent my text right. I want a "I Heart Dr. Despicable" something....swag. Maybe some goggles instead of the heart or I dunno, a beaker or flask or something.

Anyways, I don't want to take time out of your busy schedule, but hey, I'll support your domination in anyway I can. Preferably with a bumper stick or perhaps a button.

I'm so glad ZA pointed out the misogyny in the two OTR stories. I'm always amused when that shows up in OTR along with the periodic racism.
I think it's good to hear because it accurately represents the time period and the culture in which the stories are being produced or performed. But, it should be pointed out also, just to recognize it for what it is.
The way ZA pointed it out was perfect. Entertaining and pertinent within the confines of this podcast.
    Great work as always!
