(43.3 MB; 1:34:37 MIN)

When Doctor Despicable goes shopping for lab coats, he usually drags me along.  This time, he manages to take the store out while he's at it.  While we try to escape uneaten by the local plant life, you get to listen to episodes of Sleep No More and the Vanishing Point, as well as an excerpt from William Castle's Halloween novelty album and a brand spanking new Flights Of Fright..  Taliesin fills us in on the plant life used to incapacitate a bloodsucker, courtesy of Taliesin Meets The Vampires

"Gardening Gore On Aisle Four" was written by KC Locke and W Ralph Walters

Brent Hinks - Dr. Wilheim Von Martinez
Gwendolyn Jensen-Woodard - Sheila
Bill Hollweg - Bob Wolfenbridgen
KC Locke - Steve Martin
Elie Hirschman - Sgt. Staccato
Colin Snow and W. Ralph Walters - the Glendale Police Department
Doctor Despicable appeared courtesy of Victor's Secret Push-Up Wonder Briefs

I'm shocked that Dr. D's work turned to bite him on his exceptional posterior. Does this happen often?

Hey, Von Martinez was useful...for once!

Bonemarrow shouldered the burden of being the deepest voice, as usual.

Loved the "nom nom noms" while eating.

Best line: "Ahhh! The voices have returned!"

Mad science is just so... you know... mad. Generally it tends to generally bite one's posterior. Victor Von Frankenstein? Francois Delambre? Robert Suzuki? They would all tell you, except they died.

Von Martinez has his moments of brilliance - he saves it up. No sense using brilliance all the time.

ZA: I will ask a question, the answer to which might compromise the anonymity of Dr. Despicable, so I will understand if you choose not to display my query. At the end of this podcast, in the 'remake' of the story that began to sound like it might turn into "The Attack of the Giant Killer Tomatoes," the voice of Doctor Charles Warren was credited to K.C. Locke. However, K.C.Locke's voices don't seem to have, as best I can describe, the 'elder statesman, on-the-verge-of-Irish-police-officer' ring of Doctor Despicable's voice. Whoever does Doctor Despicable also sounds like he can instantly go into a Walter Brennan voice, and he might very well have done Slim Pickens in another podcast, too. Will we listeners ever be allowed to know the true identity of the person who is Doctor Despicable?
