(39.2 MB; 1:25:41 MIN)
Captain Bonemarrow gets shanghai-happy again, borrowing Dr. Von Martinez and myself for a little treasure hunting in the mysterious Undersea Sea. Beautiful and mysterious though the Undersea Sea may be, it's also a dangerous place full of feral Sea Monkeys and the dreaded Sea Honky, the whitest creature on Earth. While we try to survive, you get to listen to tales dealing with diving, from the Inner Sanctum and Suspense with a pit stop at Power Records for a Jaws rip off. Taliesin talks the water and vampires, courtesy of Taliesin Meets The Vampires.

As with the Zombie Astronaut, Vincent Price's voice never tires me out. I don't have to be sick, either. But today, with "Cry of the Sea Honky," I remembered how much I equally like listening to La-Loyd Bridges act and narrate. Funny, though, from the time I watched every original Sea Hunt episode to this very moment, I could never say his name without pronouncing both L's. Speaking of mispronouncing names, if your surname was Brough, do you realize how many different ways the English language pronounces 'ough,' and you could drive a person named Brough nuts before getting it right? Unless....you didn't...want...to get it....right. Arrr Harrr Harrrrr!

I tried mixing the DNA of a flounder, a peanut, and a boxing glove to clone my very own peanut butter fish. It didn't work out.

Love the white-boy rap, but where is Doctor Despicable?

Where, indeed, Rufus - where, indeed. Evidently, I am too "hep" (as the younger folk say) to be included in this podcast. The collection of Barry White and James Brown on my me-pod would have sent that creature scampering away in a trice! A TRICE, I tell you!

Ahh, well, I think it is nigh time that you had your own spinoff podcast anyway, Dr. Despicable. Keep up the "bad" work.

Why does chloroform work on Zombie Astronaut?

It's the whole forgetting I don't need to breathe thing. It's quite embarrassing.

Xmas approaches with frightening dispatch! I once more listened to Taliesin's "The Meaning of Christmas." On his website, Mr. Boland appears to be an otherwise normal guy, but would the Zombie Astronaut spend a night as a guest in Taliesin's house? Hickey's are great, but breaking flesh presents microscopic adventures, mostly of a negative variety. Is the 'squishy' sound of vampire teeth entering the boy's neck a stock sound effect or something done with a piece of fruit? If the latter, what KIND of fruit? I need an answer for an exam, but I can't divulge the nature of the class or gender of the instructor and whether or not she wears items made of black leather.

Cheers J-J-J-James, I am indeed normal and anything a certain doctor of despicable leanings might say otherwise is a lie
Sound effects-wise I can't really say as they were added by the most excellent Mr Walters

No pie for you, Boylan!
By the by - I just saw JESUS CHRIST: VAMPIRE HUNTER. Your thoughts?

Was that any good?

It was playfully dreadful - I think I liked it. One of those things where you either get the gag or you don't. Pocket-change movie-making at its... pocket-changiest...

Doc, I got the joke and thus loved it. The fact that it is dreadful is part of the charm - and the inclusion of Santo, genius

Incidentally, when is this adventure gonna get posted on the Frequency Lite site?
