EPISODE 0.050: THE MORGUE THE MERRIER

Episode 0.050: The Morgue The Merrier
(41.5 MB; 1:30:48 MIN)

I really need to start eating a few brains instead of snaking on several... during a night out with Captain Bonemarrow and Dr. Von Martinez, I inadvertently infect a few victims who are rushed to the morgue before they have the opportunity to rise.  When Sgt. Staccato and some of is men deliver the bodies to the morgue, they get trapped in the morgue with Nurse Bosom and Dr. Canker (as well as Doctor Despicable and Dr. Dickey Brainulous, who were drawn there by the news report regarding multiple fresh corpses) by a hoard of zombies.  While they attempt to stay alive, you get to listen to some morgue-themed OTR from The Creaking Door, The Strange Dr. Weird and Beyond Midnight.  Taliesin discusses his favorite "fresh vampire awakes in the morgue" scenes in vampire cinema, courtesy of Taliesin Meets The Vampires

The sounds and visions of multiple hungry zombies seeking 'BRAINNNSSSS!' triggered a flashback, of sorts. Try this, fellow listeners. Lay on the floor with two, healthy, well-fed, curious one-year-olds. If you have glasses, remove them. Seriously! Remove them! One-year-olds familiarize themselves with the world by tasting everything. They emulate the behaviors of werewolf, vampire, zombie, members of the WWF and any creature that would eat human flesh. A long-ago school friend used to pretend he just lost his hand and wrist, then lumber around, pushing his hand on the bodies of friends while saying, "Feel my STUMP!" It still gives me the creeps. Twin one-year-olds and drooling, faux amputees, all on a fixed income! Life (or death) doesn't get any better! I love spell check for 'brainnnnssss!'
