You might have noticed...
...I missed a podcast a little over a week ago. Well, fellow astronauts, for starters, I'm having a little trouble with my recording equipment. Nothing major, but I'm getting really bad electrical interference. I'm getting some heavily shielded cables and looking to ground as much equipment going into the mixer as possible. The basement no longer leaks though! Woo hoo!
I've also had a few issues with Roadrunner. Every time I try to upload a file, it works for about a minute, then craps out on me. I also have Roadrunner Turbo, which means my service runs half as fast as other people's service. I used Wide Open West when I lived in Columbus, OH, and that was like having a shop vac suck information off my computer and spew it onto my server space. I really got spoiled.
Lucky me, I'm in one of those areas where a single company has a monopoly over all cable usage (big monopolies are bad, but apparently little ones are okay).
Despite these minor setbacks, I will be upgrading my equipment and Roadrunner seems to be cooperating now. So hang in there! I'll have something up this weekend.

Yup, I noticed. I had horrible visions of a tentacle reaching up from the drain and pulling you in. Flooded basements are cause for concern! You should never go into one without a harpoon!
In any case, I enjoy the podcast and await the next endeavor. Aldon

Eww, it was foul. I too was surprised not to see the slimy, barbed tentacle of an Elder God unfurling and trying to steal a few records or books or something. I'm still not sure it won't happen.
