Thanks Zombie for the tribute to Himan Brown. The man richly deserves our thanks for the tremendous contribution he made to the world of OTR.

I met Himan Brown several years ago. Very interesting man, not at all the way I pictured him. Anyway,it is interesting that not one person I have met ever made it to the century mark. I plan to do that myself (only 47 more years to go). My friends all stop at 99. Pity.

During July 4th evening fireworks displays, Bampires roam distracted crowds for fresh blood, especially young blood! Bampires have needle-like fangs, not unlike the probe of a mosquito, which simulate mosquito bites when inflicted. Biting-insect repellants, sadly for consumers, have an opposite, appetizer effect on de Bampire. Have a decent July 4th weekend, which might prove to be a weak end. Moo Hoo Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Gloria Stuart of "The Old Dark House" (1932), the only living member of that cast, will be 100 as of July 4, 2010.

Congrats for your Parsec Awards nomination! http://www.parsecawards.com/

One of the things I love about the awards is discovering more podcasts -- like yours. I'll be at the awards ceremony. If you're there, please say hello!

P.S. I totally remember listening to the CBS Radio Mystery Theater and that famous closing line "The entire production was under the direction of Himen Brown."
